Description
When Jesus honored the authority on John the Baptist and submitted to that baptism the Bible tells us the heavens “were opened”. Meaning the barrier between the natural heavens (earths atmosphere) and the heavens of God’s throne was torn away. When Jesus gave His life on the cross the veil that separated humanity from the very presence of God’s glory was symbolically torn asunder. For those in Christ there is now the very real possibility of living under open heavens- free to come boldly before God’s throne of grace.
Pursuing Open Heavens deals with living a lifestyle of pressing in on the person of God. The reader will gain insight into both valuable lessons from the Tabernacle of David in the Old Testament and crucial keys the New Testament gives us. The goal of Pursuing Open Heavens is that we might legitimately experience a Holy Spirit filled life characterized by the righteousness, peace, and joy of the Kingdom of God on a daily basis. Graham Cooke wrote of POH “It will prepare your heart for your own journey so that you can position yourself under a open heaven”.
